FABSCRAP's Non-Thing Gift Guide
Let's be part of the solution during a time that’s typically part of the problem
There are ways to say “I care about you” without giving someone stuff that’ll go straight to the back of their draw, then worse.
Yes, I am talking about those pajama sets, mugs, and random toiletries that further clutter all of our draws. While, well intentioned, it can be a pain because now someone you care about has to find a place to store, donate, and generally manage the waste wrapped as a gift. We’re here to help you gift AND spread gratitude! It’s not too late to show you care without burdening others with stuff, all while sticking to your budget!

***If you do receive a thing-gift you don’t want, here are a few suggestions:
-Regift. If you have the space, put all those gifts i none place/bin; then, when you need to give a gift you look through this first.
-Donate.
-Upcycle. Though the more difficult option, this could actually make an unwanted thing-gift more special, possibly leading to a longer lifespan! Upcycling, in this case, ranges from getting that sweater tailored into a chic sweater vest, changing the color of that weird ornament (any excuse to go to Michael’s and/or paint something neon… just me?), or turn that book you’ll never read into a book safe.
Would love to hear what ya’ll do with unwanted thing-gifts - tell us in the comments!
We’re so grateful for our FABSCRAP community! We’re so excited to be offering all these new events and more in the coming year and hope to see you around.
